How To Get a Quote on Your Translation

There are a few things I need as a translator every time I’m introduced to a new project. If you prepare these things as a first step, I can quickly provide you with a price for your translation.

I prefer that you send me the following to my email address and I’ll send you a free quote, before you decide if you want to place an order or not:

  • Source material (text, Word, HTML, .zip, .pdf, etc.)

If the source material is not available to me as a first step, then I’ll need the following information:

  • Field / topic (general, letter, technical, marketing, etc.)
  • Word count of the source (more words means a higher price)
  • Source format (text, Word, HTML, .pdf, hardcopy, etc.)

When you provide me with this, my goal is then to get back to you in one day with a price for your translation, and hopefully a lot sooner than that. If I have any questions regarding your translation, I will send those to you in order to get the most realistic quote as possible.

With the free quote you can decide if you want me to translate your material. Send the information above or the source material to my email address, and I’ll be happy to take a look at it and get back to you.
